Where to buy games in London?

A friend of mine is in London and complains that he can't seem to find any decent game stores.

Where would one go to buy games in London? HMV or something?

tbh Game, HMV etc are so overpriced I haven't bought games from there in years. I only use play.com or amazon now....

If he wants second hand games there are stores on Rathbone Place (just north of the Soho end of Oxford St) and a bit further up there's a good one on Goodge St. They do sometimes have new games in there too, so worth a look.

I've always found the best places are online now. Shopto.net, play.com, amazon.co.uk, thehut.co.uk and all that.
