I think Amazon is a good choice to find some cheap iPad cases that you can perhaps buy in volume.

Also I saw recently that Evio is now offering volume education pricing on their cases so that might also be a good choice but I don't know what kind of volume they require so you might want to contact them directly.

Ebay can also work if you deal with the right sellers but overall I think Ebay is less transparent than Amazon or dealing with a company directly.

I work for a large school district and I'm in charge of training and rolling out over 100 iPads for teachers that work with special need students (we've rolled out over a thousand ipads district wide). Since the 100 iPads will be under our department, I need to buy cases for them. I have a $3,000 budge for the cases and screen protectors. Does anyone have any suggestions where to buy them from? It appears that Amazon may be my best option? Can anyone share their experience with purchasing non brand name cases from Amazon. Any recommendations and suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

I recommend the Evio harmony case since it gives good protection to my ipad.
You could check it out on http://www.evioconcepts.com/harmony.html and simply order it from their website, if your interested.

Have the Evio Harmony case, as well. And according to their website they provide volume discounts to educational institutions. It's not clear from your post whether you're looking highly protective cases. If so, I'd suggest contacting Otterbox or Gumdrop, two manufacturers of rugged cases, directly.
