I would like to know if anyone could suggest a good place to buy a macbook pro near Brunswick, Maine. Maybe someone knows of a place where i could buy one in Portland? Don´t want to order online, I need one fast!

    Thnx for any replies:apple: :)

Well, apparently there's an Apple store coming to the Maine Mall in South Portland, but it's not here yet. Until then, I think your best bet would be Best Buy, also at the Maine Mall. I'd call them first to make sure the MBP you want is in stock:

    364 Maine Mall Rd
    Box #301
    South Portland, ME 04106
    Phone: 207-791-8800
    Hours: Mon-Sat 9:30am-9:00pm
    Sun 11:00am-7:00pm

    Cheers from Portland--and good luck!

Drive a bit further to the Salem, NH Apple Store and there's no tax

Good point, Raxafarian. Another possibility would be to order it from Amazon (also no tax) with two-day shipping, or one-day shipping, depending on how fast you need it and how much you'd be willing to pay to get it in time. Or a refurb from Apple (will include tax) and choice of quick shipping.
Whatever your method, enjoy it when you get it!

    East Lansing, MI
Gorahm Micro in Saco sells Macs also:

Have you thought about getting one from apple.com or amazon.com?

I wouldn't hold your breath for the store in the Maine Mall. We have heard it is coming for quite some time. There have been no official announcements though. Local rumors range from October to February...

The Apple store in Salem @ the Rockingham Mall is nice...

You could always trek on down to Portsmouth and buy at MacEdge or Best Buy and save a bit on sales tax.
