Where to Buy New HD

    Now seeing that there are HD's with higher capacity and the correct form factor i was wondering where I could pick one of these bad boys up to upgrade my lappy

    aren't the new hard drives SATA, whereas the older ones PATA?

    That was the consensus in the recent 'new MBA' thread. Very disappointing news for those of us craving a storage increase :(

    So we cant use the newer HD in the older Airs ? How about the SSD drives can we swap out the regular HD for the new SSD ?

    who makes the current 120gb hd for the ipod classic? is that samsung also? because as I believe someone attempted to use that hd in his air because it had the 1.8 inch 5mm form factor, the only reason it failed was because he couldnt get it to format. If i bought a clean hd from the manufacturer i feel like this would be less of an issue

    I have to do some digging, but I this Toshiba makes the 120GB drive for the iPod.
