Huh, Visible is at least 7 years old now? I remember back in the day they only had one $40/mo unlimited plan and you can get a discount if you join a group with rates as low as $25/mo depending on the number of members.

Iirc, Visible recently had a pretty good deal for the iPhone 16e where you get a discount for the device as well as monthly service credits for a year or something. Unfortunately, it might have been for new users only.

Mind, the postpaid plans aren’t too bad for family plans. I believe our AT&T Unlimited Elite is like $40-42 per line.
It’s been that old already. Ask Siri lol it’s 7 yrs old. And yes prices have always been cheap. There doing tiers recently. Started with a plus tier and then another tier. But the $25 is still there.

You can buy it upfront from the carrier that sometimes offers discounts. Or you can buy it from the Apple Store (online or not), and you can ask for military or student discounts-if you are a student or an active or retired military member. You can buy it from Costco at full price, and sometimes Costco offers a large monetary balance or coupon when you buy some of the merchandize that cost over a few hundreds $ (USD). Last year my wife received a Costco money balance (a Costco check or coupon) of $450.00+ when she renewed our membership.

Also, use your credit card that has the lowest interest rate, regardless if it is the Apple card or not. It makes no sense to use any credit card that has a high interest rate. Instead pay cash or check from your bank- upfront. If you want to save some cash from the high interest of your credit card, pay the full amount spent on the new phone incurred on the credit card three days later-before you receive the credit card bill or monthly payment.

If buying from eBay make sure that the iPhone is not locked to the account of the previous owner (no need to explain why) :)
