Im after a new macbook for about £600

where is the best place in the UK to buy one? (Other than eBay)

You should try to buy one in person at the Apple Store; that way if you have any trouble with it, getting it repaired or replaced is much much easier.

Check the Refurbished Deals section at the AppleStore. They occasionally come up there.

Not sure how good the prices are at amazon.co.uk, but in the US they offer pretty good prices. You can try amazon.co.uk and see if anything comes up.
