Where to check @me email?

I have a @me.com account though I do not even know how to access it. Is this the email account you are given when creating an iCloud account? Will any email received be available when logged into iCloud in a browser?

Yes, use your @me.com email address when signing into www.icloud.com and you can get your email there.
