I just got a new 1TB SSD that I'm upgrading to and would rather do a fresh install than to clone my current drive over. I already downloaded Sierra to it, but I honestly don't like the flat icons, plus I'm thinking Mavericks will run on my 2011 better than Sierra would.

I'm wanting to make a Mavericks Boot Drive so I can install to the SSD, but obviously the installer is no longer offered by Apple. Does anyone know where I can download the installer?

I managed to find the ESD, but that isn't doing anything for me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Apple no longer offers Mavericks unless you already have it in your purchases history in the App Store app. If you did previously "purchase" Mavericks, you should be able to install Sierra, then DL Mavericks and make a USB key installer form it then wipe and reinstall to Mavericks.
