where to find itunes backup???

where do i go on my macbook pro to find an iphone backup? i want to save it just incase....

I think its in User/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup

awesome. are you supposed to just copy the folder and put it on you homepage if you want. then when your ready to use it if needed just copy it back into that same folder?

I've never tried that but I guess that should work.
