Morning, (sorry wrong section)
I had to change my gmail password and now my iphone IOS 18 mail needs the new password but I can not find where to put it in. On the previous IOS when you are getting the mail it would ask you to put in the new password. I updated the new apple password app, there is no area in the mail app in settings, and I can not find any other place.

Can someone let me know where I can input the new password.

Thanks

My friend had the same issue with her iPhone. We changed her gmail password and there was no place to enter the new one. So we deleted the Google account and tried to add it as new. But we kept on getting a 500 error. Turns out she was on 17.3.1 and once we updated her to 17.6.1, the add account went smoothly. She uses Google contacts, so when we deleted her Google account, all her contacts in Apple’s contacts app disappeared. But after adding back her Google account they all reappeared. All is good now. Not sure if it's the same in iOS 18.
