Where to sell a used car

I have always had success by putting a large sign in the window with the price and telephone number. Make sure the sign can be read from another car. Then drive the car around as much as possible and people will start calling. I have never had a car go for more than a month without being sold. Of course, a good selling price is always important. if your price is too high no one will ever call. Set the price just above what you actually need to get for it.

If you are in a hurry and want the best bang for the buck try a carmax dealer. They tend to give higher amounts than most other dealers and will buy it the same day they make an offer.
If you aren't in any hurry, what about your local newspaper? Autotrader works very well too 🙂

I would sell on Cars.com. Whenever I look to buy a car, I'm always on there, so it's what site I like best. Otherwise, hang a "for sale" sign in the window and put the thing near a semi-busy road if you can.

You can try an ad in the local newspapers? Other than that and Craigslist i think you've got most of the bases covered.
