I have a late 2012 Mac Mini.

Core i5 2.5 GHz with 8GB RAM and 240 GB SSD that I'd like to sell.

Apart from eBay where can I do this? And what's a good price? I was thinking something like £300.

Is there no market place here? ... Assuming I can't see it because I don't have enough posts?

Thanks. :)

Ebay or Amazon, but their fees are quite high. There's also gumtree but you'll need to be careful

There is a marketplace here (six months' membership and 250 posts) but there are next to no UK sales.

If I were you I'd go with eBay. The fees are pretty obscene at ~10% of sale for a straight auction – see http://www.fees.ebay.co.uk/feeweb/feecalculator – but it should get you the best price. You're underestimating the value placed upon 2012 models, btw. With the SSD you should be able to get in excess of £400. But if you play with the calculator you'll see there's significant further gouging by eBay if you want to set a reserve price.

If you save an eBay search for 2012 models and watch the sale prices for a few weeks you should get a better idea of what's attainable.

Is this quad core?

If so, these units are in high demand since they retired quad-core from the Mac Mini lineup.
