As I'm sitting here and got nothing to do than watching iPhone 16 hands-on vids and thinking about which iPhone I will throw my money at this year: capture button leaves me a bit lost.
So we finally got a capacitive button that can handle gestures such as light and heavy pressing as well as scrolling - and use it as an additional one for the cam. It's kind of obvious: ONE capacitive button could replace sleep/wake + action + volume buttons (e.g. light press + heavy press + swiping up/down). Or using TWO of them, one on each side for replacing the standard buttons with additional features.
Since I doubt that no one at Apple might have the same idea what's your opinion why they did not take that step, at least for the Pro models?!
Or will it be baby steps again every year from now, replacing standard buttons with capacitive ones?
