Okay, let's just all assume it's officially Oct 4th.

Where will you be and what will you be doing during the keynote? (which usually takes place in the morning pacific time).

I'm self employed so I've taken the day off :D (Okay, just the afternoon off). For once in my life I think I'm actually going to wait till the keynote comes via Apple.com and watch it that way. It's so exciting to keep F5'ing all the live blogs but for once I think I'd actually like to watch the keynote in official video format.

Though why take the day off if you're going to wait for the keynote to be posted in the evening?

Unless Apple starts livestreaming the keynote again like they did a few years ago. That'd be nice.

Ill be at my desk one monitor will have something work related the other will be on Engadget following the feed and maybe ustream with soldierknowsbest

To be more precise, I've taken the afternoon off. (1-5PM)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A5313e Safari/7534.48.3)

I'll be at the dentist :(

I could rather care less about the 4S/5 etc, I'm going to go nuts waiting for iOS 5. And I'm not even that hyped about notifications, I just want PC Free/WiFi Sync and iMessage...ooh it's so close!!

I agree.

I will be working and get the recap after the keynote.

It's my first day of a three month sabbatical so naturally I'll be on MR or Engadget frantically refreshing the homepage. :)

You know, I get as excited about stuff like this as the next person, but I'm still going to live my life. That's a Tuesday, right? I'll be at work.

I remember MacWorld in January 2002 when Apple let Tech TV (before it became G4) broadcast it live. Actually, they were a bit behind live as they were still putting commercials in and having tech analysts chime in intermittently, but it felt completely live, and it was glorious.

Back then we didn't have an HDTV, so it was standard def, but it was still awesome. I was glued to the TV, and I even recorded it on this old-timey gadget called a VCR. I think I might still have the tape somewhere. It was the year they introduced the flat panel iMac G4, and iPhoto. It was a really great show.

Good times... :)

I'll either be "working" from home or I will take a vacation day to follow the keynote via the live blogs. I doubt they stream it as it seems they haven't done that the past few times. :(

Huge apple fan here.

I'll be at work, probably working. That's what I'm paid to do.

I'm actually a little surprised folks are taking time off for a keynote. It's a phone...that you're paying top dollar for...

I'll never understand the mentality, but to each his own! :)

I'll be in Maranello picking up my new built to order 458 Italia.

It's faster and a lot more exciting than any shiny Apple device :)
