Where Will You Be On New Years '06?

Don't know exactly where at 00:00 but before then we will be at home with a couple of friends.

I hope I`ll be able to take some pics later that night.

The actual Millennium New Year's Eve the following year was much, much better... 😉 me, my bro and about 8 (or so) other people in the 'Sun and 13 Cantons' in Soho... just easing in '01. 😀
 
Best case, somewhere in San Francisco with someone I haven't stopped thinking about for almost three weeks. Worst case, somewhere in San Francisco partying with friends.

Right now, just stressing...

Ill be in New Zealand, like usual.

Only 13 hours and 45 minutes till 2006 (I think - Im too tired already)
 
In rural Victoria, Oz.
Will be around 30 degrees Celsius at midnight (14 & a half hours away).

BBQ, kids, friends, their kids, lousy local beer.

But makes a pleasant change from Yorkshire UK ... forecast wet and around 1 degree.

Anyhow... Edinburgh starts their Hogmanay celebrations earlier each year so we've done the torchlight parade and parading of the Viking longboat through the streets and not joining the 100,000 or so on 31 December since it's way too much hassle to get home.

Family do at my sister's with lots of firstfooting amongst the neighbours. There's a bottle of Auchentoshen sitting downstairs waiting to go out...
 
Not sure yet, but something low key - I leave for Las Vegas the very next day for a week of partying, gambling and taking in the CES! The first week of January will be my big, long New Year's celebration. 😎
 
I am crossing every finger I have so that the air conditioning is working properly at work tonight. It's supposed to be about 36C here today and anywhere between 39C and 43C here tomorrow.

I think I'm gonna melt.

Then I'm off to the cricket but they've decided to only serve light beer (for you yanks that's low alcohol - 3% - not that stupid low calorie crap) to try and cut down on loutish behaviour and the like in response to the recent riots in southern Sydney. I cry Booooo!!! There's nothing better than sitting in the sun wearing big hats, drinking beer and watching drunken yobbos do amusing and stupid things. And the bonus is there's a cricket game on as well.
 
Going to my friends John and Justin's dinner party, then later to another friend's party. I've had a cold this week, so hopefully I feel up to it.
 
I'll probably go to this party at my friend's house and hang out for a while unless a certain somebody I'd rather not see shows up then I'll probably spend the new year in my car driving around.

I wish my cop friend wasn't still training b/c I'd like to take a ride long with him and see how many drunken idiots he busts.
 
I'll probably be doing what Lacero is doing.

Either that or hanging out with my buddies.
They're having a COSTUME PARTY (I love costumes) and I'm going to dress up as tech support, a blogger, or a computer nerd.. (basically just show up in normal clothing)
 
At home, while my parents throw a 30+ person party, noisy and annoying, NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO IT AT ALLLLLLLLLLLL!
 
i'll be lighting up a gar with two chicks on my arm and pissy drunk....then i'll wake up and be brought back to reality.
