Well, two and a bit weeks to go, your plans must be in place, where will you awake Christmas morning? Wherever it may be you'll be better off than me, at work, unable to drink, in charge of a shipload (literally) of people who are well 'on it'.

Most likely at the in-laws this year. Next year it will be at my mom's house.

In-laws are close enough that we could drive on Xmas morning after the kids get up and open presents, but then we'd have 1.5 hours of them complaining/whining that they wanted to bring all their new toys, and spend the day complaining about going home. Easier just to got to the grandparents, have them open some small gifts there, and then go home on Xmas afternoon and they get to open presents again...

As for my mom's, it's about 1600 miles so when we go we're stuck. But they do get another Xmas when they get home, thanks in part to our dog sitter who we sometimes get to play Santa for us by putting out the gifts.

Maybe at home, maybe over at my friend's place... who has managed to tame (to some extent) a baby fox who lives in her garden who is now friends with her cat as well.

All of us, having a nosh on Xmas day. :D

At my Mum's with my sis and her dog (I have a feeling that sis, dog and I might end up in the same bed) :p

We'll wake up, someone will let the dog out and grab a bottle of champagne and the panettone from the kitchen before rushing back upstairs. Then we'll drop crumbs in Mum's bed while we open our stockings together.

At the in-laws in Ireland, then back to London for one day at the weekend before flying out to Italy for New Year :)

Of course, the downside of that last bit is that if County win tomorrow I miss them being on ITV on the 4th Jan. A rare TV appearance except for Sunday morning highlights.

However, I think considering I'll be up a snowy mountain drinking grappa I'll somehow cope :D

Just at home :) maybe for the last time too. Hoping to get a place with my girlfriend after she graduates next year.
Christmas dinner at ours, boxing day jamboree at my aunts. New Years eve/day at home with family.

We alternate between stopping in Hull (so we see Miss Jaffa Cake's parents) or going away (so we see mine), and this year it's the turn of the former. We're off to see my folks on Boxing Day mind, so no one will be deprived of their pressies.

That sounds like a hoot to me. Never had that togetherness as a child.

Wake up (I hope) in my own bed, thank you very much. :p

Home but then we have to run off first thing in the morning to my boyfriends parents. Then to my sister's then again to his parents. So we're opening gifts on xmas eve.

Tradition really and after all these years I get to open one present Christmas Eve and somehow it is ALWAYS the stupid pajamas.

Seeing as how I have no significant other to spend it with *sniff* I've decided to take my old childhood friend's offer and spend it with her in Hong Kong.

Then its back to NY for New Year's Eve!

In my apartment in Seoul, around 6am, getting ready for my 11am flight to Canada to be with my family for the week. :)
