I sure as hell better wake up in my bed. And I'll probably be in there a really long time. We Jews don't have anything better to do on Christmas :D

I guess at home. I'm not planning anything special for Christmas.. Wanna spend it at home ;)

I'll wake up at home, unless I get woken up by a huge train stopping in front of my house in the middle of the night, inviting me in for some hot chocolate.

All aboard the Polar Express!

I'll be waking up in either a hotel in the Maldives or at my brother's house in Dubai. [we haven't decided our Maldives dates so it could fall over xmas].

I plan on waking up in a tub full of ice in some seedy motel off the Reno strip, missing a kidney or two, and most of my liver.

I thought you ate Chinese and went to the movies. :p

Over the past 5 years I have always worked over Christmas. It was the only holiday the company accidentally gives people off that work on shift. Being an on shift engineer that included me. To get people to come into work they offered 3.5 times pay. That's almost a full week, and a great excuse to not see the family.

Now that I am laid off, I really don't know what I will do. My mother's side of the family decided that my mother and I were not really family since we live, "Up in the cities". I am thinking of swinging by my other grandmother's place for a few, maybe have some coffee and a slice of pie or something. She usually spends at least a few hours every day at the McDonald's with all the other folks that are still somewhat mobile. She will be bored to tears with out them, so I think I might swing on over.

I'll be waking up at home with my wife.

I don't really understand the poll option that says "At the wife's". I you wake up at your wife's, that should be your home too right?

This year I'm going to wake at my uncle's country house. This used to be the family's farm, but now is just a house in a beautiful land. It's the first time we're going there for Christmas and I think it will be a lot of fun, but also very cold. :D

at my parents home.
i have a younger brother (6 years old) whom is not allowed to open presents till everyone is awake.
so i make pretend im sleeping as hes jumping up and down on me and trying to shake me awake!

We take turns for the holidays: his family, my family, and one year just to ourselves. Two years ago was his family, last year was our year off, this year is my family.

I'm looking forward to spending a week whining about the cold and being pestered by my parents about when we're going to get married and have kids.

Hopefully the bathtub, razors, toaster and sleeping pills will do the trick, so I won't have to wake up on Christmas morning ;)

No, I'm just pissy today. I'm sure it'll be great.
