Come on bro, don't leave us hanging ...
Usually the media embargo lifts on Wednesday before release, sometimes Tuesday. Look for reviews starting tomorrow or Wednesday.

*This obviously does not include those who got to see/touch the phone for a few minutes after the Keynote. This is regarding those who have been testing the phone for a few days/week etc.

Cheers kycophpd.

I knew his reviews came a few days before the release of the phone, but couldn't remember how long it was.

The phone isn't released until Friday.

Ah but certain privileged reviewers / influencers get it early to do in depth testing. Mr Mann has been one for the past few years. I seem to recall he was also a judge not long ago on an Apple photo competition so it's pretty much a nap that he'll have one early and been to some exotic locale to make our mouths water.

Pixel 4 hasn’t been released yet so my guess is a lot of these reviews will be hedging on the camera review. Sites like The Verge and YouTubers like mkhbd are all about clicks/views and nothing will get more clicks/views than a camera comparison between the iPhone 11 and Pixel 4. I remember last year someone on Twitter did a blind test, which the iPhone won. All the Android fanboys were mad because it upset the narrative that the Pixel had a better camera than the iPhone.

IF Apple gave Mr. Mann a phone for review, he's probably putting the final touches on his review and waiting for the embargo to lift....

I’d be shocked if they didn’t. He has given every iPhone camera since the 7 Plus incredibly positive and in-depth reviews. Apple likes that kind of consistently good publicity.
