The missing logo on the iMac 24” the great debate… for those that say it’s vanity to complain about it missing, check out your trainers - Nike, Adidas or Primark? Point made 😂
For those that say use one of the stickers in the box - they’re too big so not a solution…

It's on the back where I'd rather prefer it. I don't really see what the big deal is...it's on the back for the Studio Display, Pro Display, MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, etc.

...and why a new account to ask this question?

Welllllll…Studio/Pro displays have no space for the front logo - no chins…iPhones and iPads/MacBooks likewise, plus those are all hand held, and portable so back logo always/and more visible. iMac back logo (and the new bright colours) mostly will not be seen as desktops usually have their backs to the wall.
Also, same reason for example branded trainers logos are not on the inside - and also why, for example Primark logo is not on the outside of their shoes or on the back of jackets and so on. It’s not vanity but a badge of pride and a celebration of beautiful design (and function)
Ps. New account as new here and couldn’t see where to reply to another post (partly due to my tears of sadness about lack of logo clouding my vision)

It's definitely true that the lack of logo means the front of the machine is curiously bare; if it had to have a chin, its unaccented look (not even speaker grilles) is curious and definitely my least favorite part of the design. I'd love to know what Apple's thinking was; I imagine it's somewhat related to their on-again, off-again laptop name lettering on the screens.

The logo is for others to see, not for the user/owner to see.
They don't need to lure you anymore, their target preys are those looking at your gears.
That's basic marketing principle.

Apart from the design philosophy, there are also practical reasons. The new front is an all glass panel, drilling into it (like into the old aluminum chassis) would create tensions within the glass and increase the risk for the entire panel cracking into pieces. So the logo can't be an inlay anymore.

The Magic Mouse has an all glass top cover and the logo appears underneath - so they could have used the same process for the new iMac…

It's loud and clear on the back. I'd prefer and wish it was ghosted it in. A barely visible logo to keep with the clean minimalist aesthetic. Especially on my Mac Mini it's prominently black.

The logos are out of sight, where they belong. No one needs to be reminded what brand of computer they bought.

While I ultimately don't think it'd look great, a part of me kinda wonders how it'd look with a subtle Apple logo in the bottom left corner, a bit of a callback to the old compact Macs.
