Gunmetal would be cool, the black is badass and manly though.

I'd like gunmetal too. All the accents, Apple logo, etc are that color.

I wonder if that will work to make a baby pink color. While I like the pink color, I'd prefer a softer color similar to the softer color of the blue bumper.

sometimes, if things dont meet your needs, go for the DIY option. A little primer, paint, and topcoat goes a long way.
