I'm disappointed that they didn't announce a new Apple Watch SE. My kid broke his, and we've been waiting for the "rumored" plastic ones, and they didn't mention (or I totally missed it) any new SE models.

One wasn’t announced but if you go to the SE page apple.com it says available 9.20 and there’s a pre order page? Mistake, or?

If you go to the Apple site and look at SE, it says preorder for 20th September. There’s new bands but doesn’t seem to be anything else.

Disappointed here, too. My daughter didn't break hers, but the screen is scratched up and the battery life is crap. She really needs a new one and I don't want to spend $300 on a 2 year old design.

Yeah, there's a preorder link, but the specs they list are the same as for the SE 2. Still using the S8 processor that is at least 2 years old.

Just looked. There aren't even new band options showing up. One band per watch. I hope that waiting, didn't screw us on options and price. I hope we're in the "they're still updating the site" phase.

I was hoping for a new SE watch, but now there's no new SE watch, might get a SE watch 2nd gen refurb off Ebay. Or wait until next fall.

Checked with Apple sales, only changes are cases now made with 100% recycled aluminum and display is upgraded to LTPO OLED Retina.

I was waiting too as I have a 1st gen SE with shockingly bad battery life so needs replacing. Given there was no news about the 3rd generation, I decided to buy a refurbished S8 from Apple's refurb store for just a small amount more than a new 2nd gen SE. More features and better display and hopefully a good few years of software support.
