So the embargo was lifted for iPhone 7 reviews but I haven't seen anything yet for the watch 2. Maybe tonight?

It's the exact same thing as the Apple watch 1 but water proof, GPS and faster

Functionality wise it's no different

I want to see the youtube videos of people putting the watch through everything... would love to see someone try to SCUBA dive with it. (YES I KNOW ITS NOT TESTED FOR SCUBAdiving) and not that I would ever do it just curious to see how far it could last. Also would like to see it buried under hot sand, put in boiling water... etc... those videos I love.

Not really. How long does it take gps to lock on? Is the speaker louder? Microphone better? Can you see the screen in the sun? Battery life? Is there a noticeable speed improvement?

Can you answer my questions? A review could.

So we got the iPhone 7 reviews last night, any clue when the embargo lifts for Apple Watch 2?

Just tried WatchOS 3 and it's pretty terrific, the only major issue I had with the first Ben watch was the speed, want to see how it stacks up.

New watch will be here Friday but I wanted to read the reviews before I experience it for myself.

All the series 2 reviews I've seen so far say this is a great fitness watch. Kind of ironic that Apple got rid of the 'Sport' branding just as they seem to be repurposing the device to be mostly fitness focused.

GPS looks great, looking forward to being phone free sometimes but getting accurate tracking results.

I'm also looking forward to the responsiveness of the phone. When I use Runtastic on my watch and tell it to start a bike ride, it sometimes takes so long to start the screen turns off. I have to wake it up, and then all of a sudden the thing starts, and then it back counts all of my seconds I've been sitting there waiting to confirm it works. Or I go to hit the finish button and it doesn't do it because it hasn't caught up to counting my time yet when the screen was off. You have to wake up the watch, let the timer race up to the current time, then finish it. Makes me crazy when I want to beat a previous time!

I'm excited for speed, responsiveness, waterproofness, and the GPS!

Notable that The Verge and Techradar disagree about the battery life. Looks like the former used the 38mm and the latter the 42mm version. I mean, we know this from the first generation, but important to keep in mind for anybody who's going to use it for outdoor running, cycling or hiking.
