Okay got Panther installed and Windows File Sharing enabled. In Windows I have already created a network location pointing to the IP of my Powerbook. I launch the shortcut in Windows and boom I am at the home directory on my Mac. Great I think, but when I had Jaguar installed Windows prompted me to authenticate with my Mac OS X user credentials. Now with Panther it just lets me in!

Any ideas how I can stop this and get promoted before I get access?

Also Panther can't seem to access my shared folder on my Windows XP box. I tried to connect using the traditional method of Go > Connect to Server and still couldn't get connected.

It all was working fine on Jaguar before.
