ahhh. lil' typo. funny thing is i read your quote and it STILL took me a second to realize what you were pointing out. i uh, made a small edit to my original post.
A mac having USB2 isnt going to kill firewire. A pro machine should have the best technologies available. A pro user might not get an apple computer because the cant afford to have to go to extra measures to get USB2 on their computer just to be able to use their new printer/scanner/CD-burner. Apple should have USB2 just for the simple fact that it is superior to USB1.
