You mean we're supposed to have only one of said drawers?

Gotta go find some bigger drawers. I seem to have one of these in every room in the house + work.

1 per room here. saves all the walking with junk from room to room. makes finding specific junk harder though

Heh.. the 1:1 ratio of junk-drawers to rooms is highly admirable! :)

One in the kitchen that's used for coupons, rubberbands/twist-ties, matches, etc. The second bathroom cupboard is used as the overflow space for any toiletries/medicines/cleaning supplies. The closet in our second bedroom is used to store everything else. Thank goodness it's walk-in otherwise we'd have serious stowing issues. We have one of those plastic dressers in there that has four drawers so that pretty much leaves us with about a 1:1 ratio drawer/room, too. :)

Just in my room, I have 1 full of AV crap, one full of bits of thread, rubber bands, etc, one full of God only knows what... and my desk. On my desk, just scanning across the top of it, other than the small space I've cleared for the PB, Cube et al: a PS2/5DIN adapter, some CDs I meant to give a friend last week, 3 pairs of headphones (2 iPod ones and 1 monitor), some PC magazines, a glasses case (I don't even use a glasses case!), a guitar tuner, an O2 SIM card, a single cable tie, an ink cartridge for a printer I don't own anymore, some news paper cuttings, a splungee-bouncy thing (I dunno :p), a lot of screws, a piece of metal for an ATX case, some AAs and a Whitbread can. There's even more hidden under this lot

:D

That's far too organized for junk drawers. Organized junk just smacks of.. organization!! :)

They'll take away your slob license, you know.

But that's as disorganized as my anal retentive inner-demon will allow me to get. The hubby was never so organized until I made him so. :D

One in the kitchen for screwdrivers, paper napkins, cocktail stirrers, instruction books, drawing pins, lollypop sticks etc

One in the living room for pieces of paper and letters from banks

Another one in the living room for cables, other instruction books, travel plugs, sellotape, spare ribbon and birthday cards.

Oh my, you lot are a messy bunch.

I don't have any junk in my house. There's a PC downstairs, does that count?

- 1 in the sun-room.
- 3 in the kitchen.
- 1 in the lounge-room.
- My room.

That's gotta be the coolest drunk jawer on the planet.

My junk drawer is lame by comparison. It's got scissors, compressed citronella, a citronella collar, batteries, a metal ruler, first aid tape, floor care pads, tape tape, birthday candles, matches and one Big Y silver coin.

This junk in my trunk ain't made for chumps! ;) :D

I have two... and I guess, in hindsight, they're kind of strange... the top drawer of my nightstand, and one of the top drawers of my dresser. I have a couple of boxes too, that were the junk left over from the junk... I distilled and got rid of a lot of things, and then the stuff that was left over, about which I wasn't sure, is there. Like, erm, how I'm supposed to dispose of batteries. I think it's bad to throw them in the garbage, but I don't know where to recycle/dispose of them. :(
