Which 16GB RAM set would be best for my MBP 13?

I have an early 2011 MBP 13'' with Core i7 right now.

Is it better to get this or this? Would the latter give any advantages over the other?

get the vengeance set, its faster, and for your igpu its it vram, so the faster the better, if you dont need 16gb I would get a 1866mhz set

That is true. But does 1600 Mhz RAM even work with the MBP 13 (early 2011)? That is the question.

It might show up that it does, but it will downclock due to chipset limitations.

It doesn't on the 15 and 17" machines it posts and runs at 1600. Not sure about the 13".
