Looking at LG 4K IPS models(eg LG 27UK850-W & LG 27UL850), but need any brand/model recommendations for compatibility. Which 4K monitor now working well for you? I am not a gamer.

I like the Dell P2415Q (I have two running from a 2018 Mac mini but I occasionally use them from a 2018 MBP15). The new LG 4K Ultrafine is very similar size wise (.1” smaller I believe) so quite similar PPI.

I have two Dell U2718Q monitors and they run fine off my MacBook Pros. These are used for office stuff, not gaming.

These are the monitors I also have! I have two connected to my 2013 rMBP, and they are really amazing. Thin bezels (I also removed the Dell logo on the front of the bezel).

Using what? I'm not overly fond of the shiny logo on my P2415Q's

The logo on the P2415Q is alot different than on the U2718Q, so the process would not be the same. On the P2415Q, I think the logo sits within a recess whereas the U2718Q logo sits on top of the matte coating directly.

For the U2718Q, a thin feeler gauge can be used to remove it; just has to be thinner than the logo thickness itself.

Yes, it's relatively flat if I run my finger over it. Someone else suggested black electrical tape. I may find another solution yet.
