I have a 2011 MBP and I need an adaptor to mirror the screen on my TV. I have 2 HDMI LED TVs I'd like to mirror my Mac.(separately of course) Which one do I need? ( I already have a HDMI cable. ) http://www.amazon.com/Displayport-Cable-Adapter-Apple-Macbook/dp/B002HU39BS/ref=pd_cp_e_2 Or http://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-F...TF8&coliid=I1NLL2KZZZSSYL&colid=3SW86MTATJODH Also, why is the price so low? Would you buy from these sellers? Thank you.
I bought this 2 days ago and it works absolutely perfectly with both audio and video. http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10428&cs_id=1042802&p_id=5311&seq=1&format=2 Ever since I discovered monoprice I've never ordered a cable from anywhere else.
I'd go with the Mini Display port to HDMI adapter from Monoprice. I have purchased a few adapters from them in the last few months, and they have all worked perfectly fine.
Mirroring will look like crap as you are not mirroring the TV's native resolution, but a much lower one. You'll have much better image quality extending the desktop or running in clamshell mode. Just so you know.
would i have to do anything special to my settings or install any program? i have a 2011 MBP 13" Thank you
I think you have to go into something like settings/audio and change it to HDMI out, I don't remember exactly what I had to do when I first set mine up.
Thanks for the help guys but I don't feel comfortable buying from Monoprice.. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the advice.
