Hi everyone,

independent of which Apple Watch you get, which bands are your favorites?

Midnight blue classic buckle (but not interested in getting an Edition model at this time).

Space Black link bracelet is quite nice but I don't plan to get that either as it won't go well with my wedding ring.

I like the link bracelet, the midnight blue/red modern buckle (but there's no way I'm buying an Edition model!) and the blue leather loop.

Not too keen on the Sport band, but I've only had really cheap plastic watch bands so I'll have to try it.

I understand making some of the bands only available to the gold watch, to give some sense of exclusivity to the Edition model.

What I just don't see is a logical explanation for the fact that some bands are only available in one size or the other.

It's not like I'm going to buy both sizes of a watch so I can have all the bands I like for that particular model. What other reason could Apple have to not produce all the bands in both sizes?

That's a good question. The Edition models with the bright red and rose gray straps are decidedly feminine so it's understandable that they'd only be available in 38mm. However, I can see the Edition models with the midnight blue and sport black bands looking good on women so there's no reason why they should be available only in 42mm.

Wonder why there are no 38mm leather loops.
I am saddened by that. I want an infinitely adjustable band and have trouble with buckles rubbing my arm uncomfortably. I'd planned to get a blue or brown leather band with a 38mm watch -- the larger size won't do well for my small wrists and arms -- and now my only infinite option, until third party bands are available, is the Milanese Loop. And that's just for formal occasions, as I tend to normally dress very casually, so I won't use the loop often.

I will have to hope that the black sport band or one of the modern buckles will be comfortable enough. I don't want the classic buckle because it's the buckle style that leads to my taking watches off.

I hope this decision gets reversed and 38mm leather bands are added.

I'm surprised so many are going with the link. Isn't that kind of old fashioned?

Why would the link be old fashioned? If anything, leather bands are even older fashioned as that came before link bracelets.

Additionally, many here want the Space Black model and this model is only available with the link bracelet.

Just reminds me a lot of watches like my grandfather used to wear. I don't pay attention to watches very much but when I used to wear a watch (in college), I don't remember seeing link like bracelets.

Me too, wonder why the are not available. Surely the width where it attaches is not a factor. Just seems strange. Maybe it's an oversight and will be corrected. I'm having trouble deciding which band to choose as blue leather loop was my immediate first like. Perhaps it will be available in the smaller size to buy separately.

I like the black and white sport band, the Stainless Steel Link Bracelet and the Brown Modern Buckle. Depending on how much Apple price these separately i will be buying a couple as add on's to my :apple: Watch.

If the Stainless Steel :apple: Watch goes over £1000 i will be getting the :apple: Watch Sport.

Ain't that milanese band just a tad gay? I always through that would be more attractive to females.
