Hi, I would like to buy a surge protector to protect my iMac, MacBook, and MyBook.

    I only need a 3 socket protector - I really don't need, or want, anymore than 4.

The reason I would like a Belkin is that it is a big name, they are reasonably priced, and they offer a nice lot of damage protection (would they pay out though, that's the question?).

Which one would you recommend, preferably for < £20?

    Thanks,
    Virtual.

Personally, I'd recommend getting an APC surge protector, but that's just me.

http://www.apc.com/tools/ups_selector/index.cfmYou need to find out which one you need before you go for price. No sense buying one that fits in your budget if it isn't gonna work. Use the selector tool on apc to see which one you need then check prices to see who can give the best deal.
