Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
I’m after some opinions of a couple of wireless headphones I’m interested in. It’s my birthday soon and I wanted to ask come a pair.
I want wireless as at some point my next phone will have no headphone jack. So I am split between a cheap pair that lots of people like on Amazon, and a pair over double the price but have a good reputation. Has anyone got these? I would get the more expensive ones direct from the manufacture refurbished as they are just returned items fully tested and cleaned.

The cheap ones are SoundPeats Q30:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Earphones-SoundPEATS-Q30-Lightweight/dp/B074W1WWNK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1517533246&sr=8-1&keywords=SoundPeats+Q30+bluetooth+earbuds

And the more expensive ones are SoundMagic E10BT:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/SoundMAGIC-E10BT-BK-Earbuds-Earphones-Black/dp/B01N5VRG53/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1517607606&sr=8-1&keywords=soundmagic+e10bt&dpID=41XIyklF5LL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

So what do you guys say? I really want a pair that will last, I wouldn’t exercise with them, I walk thin dog for that lol. Just after some decent sound for the money for music, You a Tube, games etc, and a pair that will last a while. Oh and they would need to work with the Apple Watch Series 1, iPhone, iPad etc.

In ur GF's bed, Oh no he didn't!
Do you watch video at all on your phone? Remember that most non-Apple/Beats BT headphones will not have Apple's proprietary wireless chip, and thus will have some delay in the sound to video sync. Yeah! That's the progress we all made by removing the headphone jack...

Sorry buddy I didn’t see you had replied to my post, thank you :)

And yes, I watch YouTube, news programmes or videos etc, I didn’t know of the delay. I have been looking at expensive ones too, it seems Bluetooth 4.1 and aptx is what is preferred weather cheap or expensive.

But I did see these new Sennheiser ones have ‘Qualcomm® apt-X™ Low Latency‘. So maybe that would resolve any delays? It seems a little confusing it Apple support aptx though, obviously fully supporting their own W1 standard.

And they are still nearly half the cost of the AirPods! The AirPods are a great little device but I don’t think they are worth the money?

I have BeatsX Bluetooth headphones and enjoy them. Very comfortable fit and decent battery life. Plus you can get different colors. I would not pay retail of $150, but they are on sale quiet often. I got grey ones on sale for $90 few months back. Currently blue and grey versions are on sale at Best Buy for $90, other colors are at $150. I assume that they go on sale in other parts of the world as well.

Yeah been looking at those, I will have to have a think about which ones to get. The blue seem to be the cheapest.

I got the Beats X for Christmas and I just can't get on with them. Sound quality is awful as they just don't fit well in my ear and keep coming loose while I workout in the gym.

They were sold as the best for gym workouts but they are a terrible design for this purpose as any exercise that involves lying down means the weight of the wire and controls pull them away from the ears when you lie down and also end up in a mess on one side when you get upright again.

Most other earbuds fit in my ear and despite trying every single bud (5 sizes) that came in the pack none of them stay in for more than a few minutes.

Wish I had got the Apple EarPods they seem a much better design for people who like to workout.

I would highly recommend these from Amazon.

They are $21.99 and I bought them last month.

I have many Bluetooth headphones and only one had any lag (don’t recall the brand). None of my other 10 headphones has any lag and I use them for Netflix and Slingbox.

Yeah, I have a variety of Bluetooth earbuds including Bose and AirPods and have not had any lag/synch issues with my Air 2 or 10.5 iPP and that includes streaming from Internet and local network storage.

I've been very happy with several Plantronics headphones, including the BackBeat Pro 2's I'm wearing right now. These are active noise canceling over-ear headphones, similar to, but less expensive than the Bose QC35's, provide 24 hours of battery life, and sound fantastic. They're also Class 1 BT, so when connected to some computers (my rMBP for instance), you get about 100m distance, vs the typical 10m. The Pro 2's have a clean, crisp, sound, good separation between highs, mids and low frequencies. I bought them for travel initially, but I find myself wearing them at my desk and around the house when I really want to LISTEN to music without outside distractions.

I also have a set of their sport in-ear headphones, which also sound good and provide about 6 hours of battery life, but I don't like in-ear headphones as much because of the pressure they create in my ears.

Well I gave up, I tried Beats and don’t like there sound, so as the supplied EarPods are alright, I’ve used my birthday money towards a pair of AirPods, saved £15 on them on Amazon. Just like the idea of the case and the convenience of them and the reliable sound quality.

Yay I got my AirPods today and a huge bonus, they fit my ears!!! Love em, a little bit harsh at the top end but good clarity and surprisingly clear bass with a bit of punch, for what I’ll use them for they’ll be fine, plus they need to be worn in yet being brand new. Loving the simple to use design.

Does your music play loudly?

I have noticed when listening to music with Apple Music the volume is too low when you even put it to max....but I have a booked an appointment as it may be that my iPhone 8 plus is faulty
