I agree with y’all. This case isn’t for big protection despite the company’s claim of 6.6ft. But my friend had it for the X since last year (I actually sold it to him). And he’s dropped it a bunch. Mainly getting out of the car. It’s survived just fine. So it can take drops but I wouldn’t be too rough on it.

I still like the SS too but for now I’m sticking with the Symmetry. Kinda seems the best combo of looks, protection, size, and grippiness.

And the green Symmetry looks pretty good with my gold phone. BTW, if you spend all day drinking at Modern Times and decide to order a new phone, it turns out you get a gold one. Oops! Haha.

No problem! What’s funny is I sent them an email about the email and they sent me a gift card for the difference. That was nice of them.

Can you send it?

Edit: the code lol. Not the gift card. Thanks again

Still can’t decide which one. Liking 3 different armor options.

ok yeah I was wondering if that was the case...Yeah I can easily see how what you said could be. I loved my Patchworks Mono Grip for S9+ but of course they don't make that design anymore
[doublepost=1541644362][/doublepost]Im trying to find the case that's going to pull me away from the SolidSuit. Im loving the Nomad Rugged on my XR so I might get that for the Max.

Aw man that sucks for sure, def go ahead and return that.
If I remember correctly, you also reviewed the old/thicker X version of the Nomad Rugged. How does the new version compare? Are fit and buttons the same? Which one do you prefer?

Symmetry will be 40% off at Target for Black Friday so I’m guessing there will be some good deals in other places too!!

They have the appropriate speaker cutouts for the XS Max and the transition from the grippy back to the smooth bottom is not sharp and better transitioned than the previous attempt.

That’s annoying. I’ve had my sheath XS case for 3 weeks and do like it but the speaker holes are wrong.

Lol! Gift card.... I mean code sent!

Yea I like the non-Armor and the Armor ones also. I went with the non-Armor one. There’s a $3 restocking fee if you decide to return it so you have to choose wisely... lol.

I can’t remember who here ordered from there recently and if they’ve received it yet. Was it Hooterville?

I hope so. There is a gray Mickey version for the Xs that I would love to see for the max

Just looked at that one and would order for the Max version but I don't see it.

Looks like they are the old style cases with the rubber backing and stiff rubber buttons though. :(

I also believe that the Symmetry is the best all around case so far for the XS Max. Now, if Otterbox would just offer different colored buttons like the SlipperySuit we would be all set. Tempted to reorder the Aspen Gleam so I can use those yellow buttons on my black Symmetry case. o_O

Symmetry and SS are neck and neck IMHO. I give the SS the edge as the back isn’t as slippery at the Symmetry.

highertech, thanks for your advice about the tozo over the totallee, but now I wanted to ask you if you prefer the veil xt, sheath over the the tozo lol

FYI Nomad has a 20% sale currently (EARLYBIRD). I know I returned the rugged case but I'm second guessing myself and may end up buying it again.

Nomad does not do free returns so if you do buy and want to return it'll cost you the mailing price and your refund is minus whatever you paid for shipping to start with so you really end up with at least $10 less than what you paid.

My revised Sheath is out for delivery today!

I'm no business man so I can't say I understand at all how decisions are made but it impresses me when a company is willing to send you a product for free and/or allow you to return a product for free.

Actually I intended to post an update, and again, this is coming from an Apple Care owner.

I’m really impressed with both of the Caudabe cases I’ve purchased. I’m never one to put all of my eggs in one basket but they are both really good at what they do and I’ll be keeping and using both.

The veil is very slim, solid black, and probably the best grip in that category. This will be my primary case when drops are unlikely and liquor is NOT readily flowing.

I’ve been using the Sheath since yesterday afternoon and all the rumors are true. The grip is great and it’s slim and gives me just enough lip over my (also terrific) Tethys edge to edge screen protector. It’s a great size but at the same time sturdy enough for giving that extra bit of confidence when risk of accidents are increased.
