2. Do you notice that the back and edges of the XS Max version are thinner than the (old) X version?

Just wanted to update you guys. Got my XS in and put on a Spigen Air Liquid Air Armor for the X. Everything fits, and there's no interference with the camera bump. There's about 1mm space on the top and left side of the camera, and 0.5mm space on the right and bottom side of the camera. So it fits, but it's just ever so slightly off center. Also, the bottom mic cutout is cutout for 6 grilles instead of 3, of course. All is good. I'll probably still return it and get the same one but designed for the XS, though.
I got both the Spigen Thin Fit and Spigen Liquid Armor, will keep the liquid armor

It’s going to be a pain to deal with all the returns. All the Amazon case entries saying they work with XS are going to be double checked. Looking for a clear XS case with no logos. All I can find are X cases. Ordered an X case for my phone thinking it would fit but the camera does t fit right. Are there any clear no logo cases out there with the proper camera dimensions for the XS? Problem is I think a lot of these ‘XS’ cases are just X cases that will have the same camera fitting issue.
Parfase Delicate Classic from Amazon. Solid knockoff of the Lopie I’ve had on my X for the last year. Camera hole is SLIGHTLY off and silver rather than copper hard buttons. Just realized it's fake leather, fwiw, not real leather like the Lopie which started off a similar color.

The buttons slim profile much easy to use for Apple Pay better than(old) X version,and no longer pointing out and gloss finished. The back and edges just slightly thinner still pretty solid.
EasyAcc camera hole is noticeably off and doesn’t come up over the edges all the way at the bottom. Otherwise a nice feel and pretty thin. Gonna probably get something else though.
First impressions of the Apple silicone. Buttons seem stiff. Protection seems low. Case seems slick despite all the reviews of it being extra grippy. Dust everywhere. Sticks to pockets. It is nice and thin though so there’s 1 plus lol. Patiently awaiting my speck today and will post impressions.
so many options around here. gets me confused. looking for something crystal clear, no to show off but to keep enjoying looking at my iPhone, also to be able when it gets dusty so u get it cleaned up to avoid scratches. Was aiming for Peel or Totallee

I still recommend trying it out. It’s a nice case. But for the reasons that I listed above I don’t think it’s for me.
I actually have the horizon blue on my max now. I’m returning my speck as a result. Since I ha e the caseology legion which cost me 1.50, I kind of feel the speck is overkill
No, it was the presidio grip in green from Verizon. No issues but didn’t need a car that expensive when I have others just as durable.
How’s the back side of the case? I’m really interested in getting this case because I’m going to Mexico next week and need something sturdier than the leather case. But I’ve always disliked cases with a clear plastic back because of scratches/smudges. My hands sweat a little.
