Which Cell Phone

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this.

I am up for an upgrade on my cingular plan this month, and I am trying to decide on a phone. I have it narrowed down to the krzr and the samsung D807. What would you recommend? Or are there any other phones you would suggest?

Trust me, I would love to, but its $500, that is way out of my price range. And I dont need that much phone anyways.

The quality of both brands is in question as far as I'm concerned; the one Samsung phone I've owned decayed into crapperish oblivion after only a few months, and both of my Motorolas have had issues too.
