I got mad and decided to buy three 
clamshell ibooks. (and also a HP mini netbook) I was THAT mad. 😡
the three clamshell ibooks are for the usual useful usage of 9.2.2 🙂
I have a bootable grey disk, that says for ibook. will it work for ibook g3 clamshell?
or will I have to get a new one.
The seller says there is Mac OS X Cheetah Edition on it. If Mac OS X is going to be on them, it needs to be Tiger Edition. Since I am not sure which g4 can natively boot 9.2.2 ... I use all my g3s for 9.2.2 and Mac OS X for most g4 and all g5.
there is probably not any OS 9 drivers on them. if so, how to put OS 9 drivers on them? I would like to...if needed... erase and install OS 9.
my powerbook g3 malfunctioned. I gave up on it. unimplemented trap error.
I would rather reinstall the OS and from CD. sometimes the hard drives are too hard to take out. 😱 and connect to another computer with an adapter.
