Hey everyone. So I'm thinking about buying the Ipad Air tomorrow, but I'm just curious what color the MacRumor community chose and why?

I really can't choose, Apple did an amazing job with the new Space Gray color (didn't like the Slate at all), and now I'm in a pickle as to which one I should buy.

Note: My 5S is Silver. Was really tempted by the Space Gray however.

Since you said iPad, and not iPad Air, I'll assume you mean all iPad's.

I got Space Grey for my rMini. Never looking back to white.

I always thought people were being too sensitive when they posted that the white iPad is distracting but I got an Air in white and had to exchange it for the black model which has much better contrast with the screen. And this is coming from a guy who has had only white iPhones before. I got the white Air originally to match my 5s.

My suggestion is go Space Grey!

Space Grey...white bezel distracts from the screen too much.

Ditto. I bought a silver/white iPhone 5 because it's less prone to nicks and scratches. I prefer a black bezel. I feel that Space gray and an iPad in general is less prone to damage than a Slate phone.

I got the white iPad Air.

My first iPad (1) was black, then iPad 3 in white. Now with iOS 7 theme in white, everything looks better and more elegant in white, so that's why I got the white instead. I actually got the black leather smart case to keep it stealthy and blends in with my other stuff. It gives it a nice contrast.

I bought the white/silver and I like it very much. Some how the white makes it look even more streamlined. And I really like the silver edge around the bezel; does the black/space grey also have this? I can't tell from what I see online.

Yes, I bought the white/silver without having seen it in person. 😉

To me the white bezel is definitely not a distraction; rather, I think it looks distinctive when not in use, and when it is turned on, I don't even notice it, because I'm busy with my work or play.

I prefer. Black bezel and agree with those who say a white bezel is a bit distracting. The white sure stands out across a room so if you're in public places such as a coffee shop I believe it would bring more attention.

I ordered black/slate Retina Mini because I wanted a change --iPad 2 was white and my 4s is black, so wanted uniformity this time around.

White/Silver for me... Its a good lookin design for sure.

The space grey is also real nice!! MUCH better than the slate.

Had every version of the iPad in black and this time around I bought silver. And, I'm a professional, watch videos and I'm a guy 😀

I really like it and don't regret my choice. Clean and no distraction at all.

Always had Black iDevices. Tired of it and with iOS 7, the silver/white devices looked sexy as hell.

Bought an iPad Air in Space Gray (my gut said silver/white but I couldn't do it) because I thought it looked good. Then I bought an iPhone 5S in Silver/White. Loved it instantly. Sexy and clean. Took back my Air and replaced it with a Silver/White. No regrets. Love the look and couldn't be happier.

My initial hesitation was the white border would bother me while I watched videos. Nope. I don't even notice it just like the black border. 😀

Had a white air just until the apple store had the gray in stock. Hated the white one. I was constantly worried about getting it dirty. Black is so much better. I have a space gray 5s so they are perfect

I've always gone for black, so my Air is Space Grey.

However, white does look nice and I think it works well with the iPad mini.

My original Ipad mini is black. I ordered a silver/white retina mini, partly because I think that might look better with Ios 7.

I went Space Gray on my Air just because I really didn't like the look of the white cellular antenna strip on the back of the silver model. I like it overall but do miss the white bezels and how well they cover up fingerprints.

I went white because it was all that was available in the configuration I wanted (rMini), but I have to agree I'm not missing all the fingerprints I used to see on my black Mini.
