I got the Sky Blue at launch because the lighter colors felt more "airy". I returned it because it was too big for one handed operation. I was getting FOMO for black though. It just looks so sleek.
I've been using a Sage Green iPhone 17 but I missed the Air so I got one in Space Black when I saw AT&T was running a promotion ($5/mo for 36 months, no trade-in required). I needed a grip for the iPhone 17 anyway and the Air felt a lot lighter than it should plus I missed the screen size.

i had bought 3 x Air to date.
1 x sky blue, 1 x light gold, 1 x cloud white. I like the light gold the most. 😉

Cloud white because it’s the only one that can be polished.
I actually dropped it fairly hard on tile and put a small dent in the corner. It was highly visible at first because the dent was most my matte. I sanded it with 3k grit sandpaper, then polished it up. I’ve handed it to friends to see if they can find where I dropped it, and no one can.

Bought a Space Black on launch day and fitted an ESR clear case immediately. Still love my colour choice and case choice too! I had a 16 Pro prior to the Air which was Desert Titanium ( I think ) and absolutely loved that colour…would have got the Air in that colour if it was possible.

Light gold: after 3 years of space black 14 PM I want something not black and I founded the warm white of the light gold the best option for my taste. Seven months later, I’m still extremely satisfied of my choice.

I purchased my 1TB Space Black Air on launch day and chose this color because I loved this color. I also purchased a Tekmomo Sophie Blue leather case to go with my Air.
My last iPhone was my 1TB Natural Titanium 15 Pro Max that I purchased on launch day. There’s nothing wrong with my PM except battery life on this device is now at 83%, rather than breaking open the original factory seal I decided it was time to get a new iPhone and the Air this time around looked interesting so I got it.
So far I have no regret in getting my Air👍🏽

I have wanted a gold phone for a long time so I got Light Gold. It looks pretty good in warm lighting (kinda cream colored), and I like the gold titanium rails, but I really wish they had made the phone a true gold color because in bright lighting and outdoors my phone looks plain white. Nothing wrong with a white phone as I have had one before, but I wanted a gold phone and this isn't gold.
If I bought it again I think I would get black (I was considering that last year when buying the phone). The Air looks really good in black.

When the Air launched last September, I looked at all the colors available and came to the conclusion the lighter colors looked great but the changes in color was too subtle for my tastes as they all seemed whitish in color so I went for my Space Black and have been happy with my choice ever since. No buyer's remorse or anything. It has been an awesome iPhone to use nevertheless.
I agree, they are basically three different shades of white lol, and black. The gold side rails was what I really liked and why I ended up with that color.
