Which combination of iPhone and iPad would best suit you today?

Option One:
First Generation 32GB iPad and a new 64GB iPhone 6+

or

Option Two:
Second generation 64GB iPad Air and a 32GB iPhone3GS?

Definitely option 1. I have an iPad 3 but I never bring it outside, just use it indoors for miscellaneous things like YouTube videos. I use my phone a lot more than my iPad.

I had the following combo

32gb cellular iPad 1 - 16gb iPhone 4

32gb tmo iPad air - 16gb iPhone 4

32gb tmo iPad air - 64gb iPhone 6

Beyond touch ID, I don't have a lot of desire to update my iPad. This one works great. That said, I would choose the iPad update over the phone... Except my kids are using a 3GS and um, the battery is shot and it needs help.

SOOO, I might have to update the phone to at least a 4s/5.

Basically, I use my iPad more each day than my phone, and I use my phone more as a phone than anything else. So the iPad would come first.

I'd go with 1. Phone is more important since it's more mobile and fits in a pocket. And no... iPad mini does not count as able to fit in a pocket. At least to me.

No one wants to use a 3GS in 2014. No one really wants to use an iPad 1 either but the phone is far more important than the tablet.

Awesome 3G unboxing photo. Definitely option 1. I have a mini 2 and 6+ and I'm pondering about the iPad Air 2 since my iPad 3 was on the heavy side and I stopped using it once I got the mini since it's lighter. iPad Air definitely weighs less now but unless someone buys it for me on Xmas, I will wait until iPad Air 3 since it may match 6 series phone design.

2013 :
iPhone 5s 16GB + iPad 4 LTE 16GB
iPhone 5s 16GB + iPad Air LTE 16GB

2014 :
iPhone 6 16GB + iPad Air LTE 32GB

16GB is enough for me on the phone (I have about 6GB free).
I stream all of my music from SoundCloud (Unlimited data LTE - awesome 😎)

On the iPad I store a lot of games, productivity apps and media. The tablet goes everywhere with me (I have about 5GB free).

Pretty happy.

2015 :
iPhone 6S 16GB + iPad Air 3 LTE 64GB
