Plenty of places I'd like to visit but I'll play by the rules of the OP and say the next one would probably be Spain. Been there before, just not seen everything I'd like to see yet ;)

India

I'd love to go to the sacred Buddhist places in India ending up at Dharamsala

(ps - well done to those of you who said South Africa - it rocks.. come visit Cape Town some time, you'll love it)

I'm not sure why, but I think I'd like to visit the UK next (and from there the rest of Europe). Maybe work and live in London for a while.

For the 10 day trip I think Japan would be great.

Top of my list is Canada.

Every week or so I take another browse around some travel sites checking prices, looking at hotels, etc. Just got to save up the £££. I'll hopefully make it to Toronto sometime in the last half of next year or early '08. I want to stay as close to the action as possible -- I'm not a car driver, but have no worries about wandering around a city on foot or public transport, so I want to be staying somewhere pretty central.

For a 10-day break, I'd go back to Nigeria again. I made some good friends out there in Idimu, Lagos, and I promised I'd visit again.

I would love the next immediate trip to be Germany. Preferably around "little" Octoberfest.

If I had 10 days, it would probably be Norway. I'd like to look up some distant relatives that I've never met or known.

The Falkland Islands though I might run out of things to do in 10 days.

I went to the UK last summer and I'd go back in a heartbeat - just point me to the nearest pub and I'll be happy for 10 days.

and question does this '10 days' include travel time? because I would lose a day going to the UK and lose another coming back so it really is only 8 days.

Don't worry you can make up the drinking time since the pubs have gone 24hr since your last vist, no need to be sober, ever!:)

Australia (I really hope to live there some day).

If only 10 days, Ireland.

My uncle started going and putting together a really spanned out version of our family tree. I'd like to meet some of these distant strangers :)

So they finally seceded? It's only been 47 years, for crying out loud.

But that does raise a good point - if a large country was your chosen destination (Australian, China, India, Russia, US, Canada, etc.) - is there a particular region you're thinking of?

Even for smaller countries, 10 days is a short trip to see something.

For me, it would be Australia - probably Sidney and Melbourne, as that seems doable in 10 days.

If I could afford it, I'd visit each island on the Bahamas. Realistically, I'll be taking my wife to London next month.

The hubby and I thought the Bahamas were overrated--at least Freeport, Grand Bahama Island was. Maybe Nausau is better??

Both the hubby and I want to go to Australia next--10 days or whatever.

 Nassau is for the party animal in you...Freeport is for the layed back beach days...gotta know before you go. Nassau is just like New York just smaller. Freeport is just relaxed.

Too many islands...so much things to do.

Bless
