I expect this question will have already been asked:

I am thinking of getting a HomePod.

I have Hey Siri enabled on my Apple Watch, iPhone. If I enable Hey Siri on the HomePod, which device will Siri activate on, when I say the Hey Siri command, or will it activate on all the devices I've mentioned?

It's not perfect but usually the HomePod. As another mentioned it is better than it was at launch.

when I say "hey Siri" I see my iPhone and iPad light up, but they quickly turn off once the HomePod takes the command. (under 1 second)

if my phone screen is on when I say "hey Siri" (doesn't seem to matter if it's locked or not) the phone will take the command.
same for the watch, wrist raised & screen on, "hey Siri" will trigger the watch.

if the watch and phone screen are both on. it triggers the watch (phone never acknowledges it heard anything)
