which display adaptor?

If I get one of the new mac minis. which display adaptor do I need to be able to plug my existing (7 year old) Dell monitor in the mini?
The current monitor cable has one of the serial-type connectors on it.

I think you want a mini displayport to VGA adapter.

They have a thunderbolt port, but it's backwards compatible with older miniDP display adapters 🙂
