Only reason people are picking the one on the right is the green cellular icon is on. Cover it and the orange of both look the same. But if it were my choice I'd pick the one in the middle
You are the exact reason that Apple banks on! One who doesn't and won't see the difference in screen quality! It is exactly why quality control has gone down the tube!
I'm sorry, everyone here is playing a mean practical joke on you.
The real answer is that since we don't know anything about the camera's settings, it's impossible for us to know.
Those responsible will be sacked.
Regardless of full brightness or low light, no miracle will make those screens look any different!
Trick of the camera, both sides show faded icons, some on the right, some on the left.
LOL you keep believing that!
I will, its clear as day.
You must have a lot of cloudy days in your life.
I think the OP is playing a practical joke. There's no way those two phones have 100% the same settings. Reset them to factory settings and then take a picture. The green cellular icon is too washed out for it to be the default settings from the factory. Either that or they're not the same two phones.

Why is it really that unbelievable? Different screen manufacturers, different calibrations across same manufacturers even, defects, andcutting corners. Same "specs" in terms of pixels on paper and screen type (IPS, AMOLED, etc) I wish screen tech was all or nothing, but there's so many varying degrees.
OP: right one
Actually they are the right settings, only reason I'm asking is because I paid close to $1000 for this phone so I want to keep the one with the best quality. All setting on phone are the same.
Well guys to my luck the right one which is the one I was going to keep just happen to have dead pixels. Wtf![]()
