I like the size of the 13 and the resolution of the 15. If I had to pick one today I would get the 13. However, I'm going to hold off a bit more in hopes of getting the 13 with a high resolution screen option.

The 13 has plenty of power for what I do. I'm more interested putting in SSD drives to speed up data access.

15.

Had a 13 before now, and you might think the 15 is big in size for a while, but after that you really don't notice it.

The extra screen real estate is nice too.

The 15 would be nice for the power and it's not too big. The 13 would be perfect for what you need and it's not heavy. I love my 13" MBP :)

I still consider the 13" MacBook Pros to be the high end MacBook. The major reason being the 13" ones have integrated graphics while the 15" & 17" have dedicated graphics cards. Plus when I tried using Final Cut Pro on my friends 13" MBP it was almost impossible because of the small screen size.

15" MBP Hi-res AG over 13" hands down. Weight difference isn't noticeable (2.27 vs. 2 kg) but screen and performance are. And I don't want to lug either of them in a shoulder bag for the whole day. Hence I have crumpler backpack for those but I'm looking for a shoulder-bag friendly complement. Considering MBA 11" as a just-in-case notebook.

I travel alot, so the 13" was just right, plus I use an external monitor at home so screen size isn't an issue.

Wow thanks guys! That was seriously very informative and helpful! I think I'm going to go to the store and play with both a little bit then make my decision. I'm now leaning more towards a 15"... but we'll see! It will be my only computer (for a while). We'll see if I can even come up with the money. Haha!

My first Apple computer was a 15" PowerBook. I loved it so much I ended up replacing all my stuff with Apple over the years.

I next got a 13" MacBook. I loved that computer a lot, but found the screen size limiting whenever I needed to do video editing, web design work, etc. Now that cameras are HD, the 13" doesnt' even fit it. Plus I just couldn't stand the glossy screen.

Eventually, I found a screaming deal on a used 15" MBP (non-glossy) and replaced my 13" MacBook.

Now that I have a iPad, I don't really use the MBP much, however I still need it to do design work when I'm not behind my MacPro.

Unless you NEED the real estate, the 13" should be big enough for most people's needs. Honestly, how many people out there really use a computer for more than email, facebook, internet, etc.

I also will say that if you only have one computer, I'd go with the 15". If you have a desktop already, the 13" should be fine.

I'm 5'6" and 190 but the issue is; I not only carry my MBP but I also carry my Camera equipment: Nikon D90, Lenses x3, Flash, external Backup drive, other assorted Camera accessories, batteries, Glock 23 .40 cal with 200 rounds of ammo:D, cleaning supplies, and wireless internet (Clear Internet).

Stop carrying 200 rounds of ammo...
