I exclusively use Yahoo. I'd say that Yahoo works about 60% of the time on 3G and only 30% of the time on Edge. You actually have to go to Mail and fetch new mail. Even then, sometimes I'd get a 3:30 message at a 7:15 fetching.

How funny. I come across a post earlier in this thread that says yahoo email offers push on the iPhone. So I immediately go to yahoo and create a new email address because I intend on strictly using email with my new iPhone, as I refuse to pay a dime for texting.
So, after I set up the yahoo email address, I come back to this thread to see people talking about how awfully the yahoo push works. lol
