Gigantoregate is my call. I predict many, many, many attention whores making youtube videos about how they didn't know the phone would be bigger.

Supplygate from the people who show up at 8 AM expecting a phone and Wobblegate thanks to the protruding camera lense.

Okay, I don't want to create a new thread because of this, so why is it called a "gate"? English is not my native language and I didn't find this meaning in a dictionary...

Probably tons of people getting phones they didn't order ("I ordered 128GB and got 16GB!") or "I didn't get my phone when Apple/T-Mobile/AT&T/etc. promised it shipped tomorrow!"

How about Gigantigate, from all the Plus buyers who realize their phone is just too....damn....big!!!

Come on, guys, I'm just messing with you. :p

The "press" is almost all very very pro apple I think you might have a bit of delusion there.

Absolutely not true. I wouldn't say they are pro or against Apple, they are just pro clicks and advertising revenue, and Apple articles always get attention. A good controversy is great for business, and there's been at least one every year.

I'm thinking something with the displays on the iPhone 6 Plus. I just hope mine is ok. Perhaps backlight unevenness? Image retention? I'm also worried that the thing will bend in pockets since it's so thin and large. Also, the vibration motor is apparently loud on the Plus model, so people will probably complain a lot about that. I'm a tad worried about that as I almost always have mine set to vibrate. There might be something we don't expect, such as the NFC chip going haywire, but I suppose we won't know that until next month when Apple Pay goes live officially.

What's weird is my coworker was at Panera and they had just finished installing new payment terminals. The thing on it said "Tap here to pay" and the old guy ahead of her in line kept trying to tap his credit card against it without success. My coworker asked what they were for and they said "We just installed them for the new iPhone pay." So places are definitely rolling this stuff out pretty fast.

"I waited in line for hours and they ran out of the phone I wanted. Apple is the worst company ever. Is this how they treat their loyal customers? They have so much money. Why can't they make enough iPhones? This happens every year. Apple is a sinking ship. Time to make a thread about this. Who's with me?" - GATE.

I am willing to bet we'll see a bunch of yellow screen threads. Engadget's review said their 6+ review sample had a "warmer" screen than the 6.

Gonna guess that there will be a lot of people either complaining about not getting the plus or that the plus is too big. And then from there, it'll be size-gate once again, arguing about this is better than that. This versions getting neglected and all that sorta shtuff.

Oh god. Here we go again. I had to return my iPad Air because I was tired of dealing with that and the RAM, I really hope the iPhone isn't a repeat.
