Which graphic card for win7?

My old 8800 is getting way too noisy. I have a 2600 I can use for osx(which I seldom use 🙁 ) so I decided I have no need for a mac compatible card but one would be nice.

Looking for suggestions which one to buy. Usually work with 2d-applications, but sometimes play some games like SC2, D3, DA, AC etc in 2560x1600. Want a quiet card and would prefer a low consumption card. Where is the sweetspot right now?

This one for ~$150?

or go for the 5850?

Get a used 4870 (or refurb; the 5770 performs no better and will cost more) or get a 5870 once they come out for the MP.

I'm excited for the 5870 to come out a la carte...
