I've been given a £50 amazon voucher so im looking to upgrade my macbook pro's hard drive from the standard 250gb to one with abit more storage.

I'm looking to get something fast but if i can get high capacity too thats a benifit. Looking about 500gb minimum or i dont think its worth the cost for only a few extra gbs.

so what hard drive to other members have which they'd recomend?

or if theres a specific one on amazon.co.uk cheers

If it's a unibody, you can use the 1TB Western Digital W10TPVT. It's 5200 RPM, but it doesn't feel especially slow compared to my old 5400 RPM 160GB my MacBook came with.
