I have seen them side by side. The 6 maybe more accurate as far as colors, but the Note 4 is just crazy vibrant and sharp.

macrumors is where the owner of note 4 hang around

I didnt say i would.

Im just curious to see what people think about the two screens.

I personally feel the note 4 screen looks better, but I certainly will not be buying the note 4.

The samsung screens just look sharper and the blacks look really black.

I dont get why so many people are butt hurt over this. Apple does not dominate with every product, windows outsells mac by huge numbers, does that mean mac is bad? No.

Exactly, as an iphone 6 plus buyer I have no shame in admitting the galaxy note 4 has the better screen.

Ive seen both in person side by side and honestly, I think the Plus has a better display, even if it's 1% better, it just goes brighter and has better viewing angles then the Note 4 and isn't even really any sharper then the Plus (Note 4 white subpixels is above 500 ppi, but the red and green subpixel's is only 366 ppi as opposed to the 500+ ppi mark it technically has, but this is due to PenTile )

Note 4. It takes but 10 seconds of quad HD demo videos to prove this beyond any doubt. 1080p looks sharp on the iPhone 6 Plus, but the Note 4 is better, sorry.

Well, too bad you're wrong.

He's not wrong. Its perception. Some like LCD, and some like IPS. You can tell the difference. Some like the wider viewing angles and the brighter display in sunlight that a IPS screen gives. Some like the Saturation that a LCD gives. Its about choice.

In real world, specs don't matter when it comes to screens. Its about what is visually appealing to ones own eyes. Not everyone's favorite color, ........................is everyone's favorite color.

The 6 Plus is a lot better.

The Note 4 is okay, but one problem is that it is attached to the wrong ecosystem.

I voted "Note 4". OLED wins on blacks, LCD wins on longevity and probably on efficiency due to iOS's use of white backgrounds. Note 4 also gets points for it's ability to show pixel perfect designs with no scaling.

It's real close, though. I ordered a 6+ and don't feel at all like I'm sacrificing display quality to use iOS.

I'm pretty sure OLED does saturation better in the smartphone space. Some of the OLEDs can display far beyond sRGB gamut, while LCDs display about 100% tops.

Anyways LED and OLED each have different strengths, but overall OLED is a bit ahead of LCD at the moment. New tech on the way will change that within a year or two.

I have used Galaxy devices the past 2 years and just got the Iphone 6. The colors on the Galaxy screens do pop more vivid colors compared to the Iphone 6. One thing that I noticed about the Iphone screen is that it is much easier to see/read outside. The Galaxy screen is better for pictures and movies.

The iPhone 6 screen is much more accurate. But many people love the saturated/vivid look of Samsung's AMOLED screens. Take a look at both and pick the one you like, it's user preference - can't really say one is 'better' than the other.

The Note 4 has a far better screen than the iPhone 6 Plus. Amoled (2k) against a lcd panel (1080p) is no contest. But we are on a Apple (loving) website. So the poll results doesn't suprise me.

I can't comment on the Samsung specifically as I haven't seen them side by side. However, it the Samsung is over saturated as others say, that would be a deal breaker for me - especially if you couldn't adjust it to more realistic colors. I'm one that hates the overlay vibrant and garish colors that come as standard on new TVs. First thing I do is mess with the settings for days to get the most natural looking colors.

I don't care the specs. The Samsung screen is way to saturated and looks less natural. I prefer the iPhone screen. Specs be damned. It's about the end user consumer experience and the iPhone for me looks and feels better. It's all preference.
