I currently have a second drive (not my current boot) with HS 10.13.1 installed.
I see there where a few supplemental updates back at 10.13.2.

Can I go straight to 10.13.6, should this be the combo update and will the FW need to update (currently 084). I will have to swap out my GPU if this is the case.

I could boot into that drive and see which version the app store brings up, but it won’t tell me if FW needs updating until I commit to the update I presume.

On MP5,1, you have to download the full Mac App Store installer and open it to update the firmware, just updating via software updates don't upgrade the BootROM. Take a look here MP51.0089.B00: The return of microcodes =)

There is no need to download any intermediate updates. Just download the full 10.13.6 installer from the app store as tsialex said. Install your EFI GPU and then run the installer. It will prompt you to do the firmware update and after the reboot you will be at MP51.0089.B00.

Thanks guys.......in the meantime I rebooted into HS and the updates does show 10.13.6.....:)
Will download the full installer....:D

Ok downloaded the full installer, FW updated to 089......:p

Edit: REMOVED MY PREVIOUS TEXT AS NOT APPLICABLE, ALL WORKING FINE.
