Where is an option for

Keeping iPad 1 and Waiting for inevitable iPad 3 that will somehow run flash?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Ouch. What I want is the most popular.

Still not very many CMDA or Verizon votes.

By the way, I was chatting with a Apple Store person online and they said that the AT&T model is not locked to AT&T. Hopefully she knows what she is talking about.

I was going to get the Verizon until I learned they're charging a $35 activation fee every time you turn 3G data on. I'm not paying $55 for 1GB of data, so it's back to AT&T for the iPad.

Going for Wi-Fi only, 32GB iPad. White or black. I will know when I see them in real-life.

I am not willing to pay for another subscription when my current cellular plan gives me 20 GB of monthly data over UMTS / EDGE, which I barely use as is.

If I could use the data between devices as I saw fit, then definitely the 3G UMTS version for convenience but since that is a no-go, I will use tethering to my iPhone 4.

Not getting one

Until the Data Caps are raised significantly or erased, I will be staying away from such products. Period

Have unlimited on my iPhone hence me continuing to get it.

Could the 5 PM launch be so that employees don't have to work all night long, now they just have to work normal hours.

The White is ugly and for your eyes a terrible surround for pics, movies and games.

I getting 64 Black Wifi (already have tethering). I don't know how you guys can tolerate 32, I just bought an iPhone a month ago and in a week I maxed out the 32. I can't wait for the 64 iphone. (it should be 128!)

Just sold my 3G/16GB and I'm planning on getting a WiFi/32GB (black). I haven't used the 3G all that often, mostly when traveling. I will probably miss the GPS more than the actual data. In any case I have an iPhone 4 for GPS and I can tether with it.

On the other hand, I have felt limited by 16GB very often, mostly when trying to put enough videos for a trip on the thing. I'll be much happier with this selection I think.

If if don't mind my asking I have a question about the iPads practicality as a GPS device. Were you able to find a good solution for mounting the iPad in your car? As appealing as it might be to have it all in one devise it seems that a TomTom or Garmin would be more practical.

32GB WiFi black

I'm in the same boat you are. Lossless music is killing me. What's stopping me from get 64GB is monies. The next iPhone better have upgraded space!

Well, I would get the 32gig wifi black, but as it is, my wife gives me the evil eye even when I pull out my iphone while we're watching TV, so it's not looking good for the home team.

I got the 64gb 3g last time but found the storage space very much wasted. This time around I'm going with a 16gb 3g, but if I get to the front of the line and they don't have anything left I'll take any 3g model, I ain't walkin out of that store without an ipad lol.

You get evil eye when you use your iphone while watching TV? I use my BB for internet/email while watching TV all the time. Hubbys usually on our netbook also. Why does it matter?

Its practicality as an in-vehicle turn-by-turn GPS is pretty much nil, IMO. No, I never found (nor tried to find) a way to mount it in my car.

This funny, very rarely will you see me watching TV without using my iPad at the same time, and I don't even watch TV often. Unless it is a movie, from which I demand zero distractions.

I found a great solution, but it's a bit ghetto. I got a very thin black bungie cord and attached it to the underside of my front console above my radio. It worked great with the ipad1 and apple case, I would simply flip the cover over the cord and I had it front and center, and when it was off you would hardly be able to see the cord. I also had a audio line in adapter on my stereo which could be plugged into the ipad so I'd get sound thru my speakers, made listening to music off the ipad pretty awesome. You'd think it would look ghetto, but it actually looked pretty nice in an Audi A8.
